As the United States competes in a global economy that demands innovation, the U.S. education system must keep up by fusing the three Rs and four Cs (critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation).

This summer, P21 began collecting one-minute video submissions that answer to the question, “What does 21st century readiness mean to you?”

The person with the winning video entry chosen by our panel of judges will receive a trip for two to Washington, D.C. to attend the National Summit on 21st Century Readiness, October 4 and 5, 2010. Travel, hotel and meals for two days and two nights are included.

The announcement of the winner is coming, so stay tuned to see who the winner will be! In the meantime, you can check out all the submissions on our Video21 site. Just select the channel called "2010 Grant Submissions."

Then, mark your calendar to attend the Cyber Summit on 21st Century Readiness, September 20-October 5, 2010!
