Description: Teach 21 is a web resource designed by teachers working collaboratively with the West Virginia Department of Education's (WVDE) Office of Instruction that is used throughout the state in planning and delivering effective 21st century instruction in West Virginia classrooms. The Teach 21 Website:

* Enables educators to quickly access 21st Century Content Standards, Learning Skills and Technology Tools for West Virginia Schools, with links to multiple resources;

* Provides instructional resources that exemplify rigorous and relevant instructional design and delivery;

* Makes information easily accessible for teachers, administrators, parents and students;

* Showcase standards-based units and instructional guides that model the integration of content, learning skills and technology standards, research-based instructional strategies, differentiated
instruction and rich classroom assessments, including a culminating performance, product or project with an accompanying rubric;

* Features video clips with accompanying lesson plans that demonstrate the seamless integration of technology and 21st century content and instructional practice; and

* Is fluid in nature, with continual updating and development of new materials that support 21st century classrooms in which engaged learners produce quality products and performances.
